Federatia Romana de Atletism a desemnat ca participanti din partea Romaniei, la aceasta importanta Conferinta, pe dl prof CRISTI IACOBAN si pe dl IONUT VIERU, antrenor federal pentru juniori.&nbsp; Au participat 143 de reprezentanti ai 46 de federatii din Europa. Scopul Conferintei s-a axat pe ajutorul pe care EUROPEAN ATHLETICS il poate acorda Federatiilor Nationale Europene de a-si fixa strategii privind intarirea sistemului de cluburi si atragerea a cat mai multi copii in atletism si mentinerea lor in activitate. A fost adoptata de asemenea o declaratie comuna. Un raport complet a fost inaintat conducatorilor FRA.
